Tali

Tali Collins is a lifelong Clevelander with a commitment to making her community a more vibrant, socially just, warmer place. Her work in refugee resettlement and homeless services illuminated her soul’s mission – connecting folks to opportunities that unlock their own sense of self-worth and purpose, healing through connectedness. As the proud Academic Dean of St. Thomas Aquinas in Cleveland’s St. Clair Superior neighborhood, she is dedicated to coaching teachers who provide high-quality, skill-building instruction for our city’s next generation of leaders. In collaboration with dads, big cousins, uncles, grandfathers, and other male figures in the community, Tali founded and runs STAnd Together, a volunteer group at St. Thomas Aquinas comprised solely of men who believe it takes a village to raise a child. Through conflict mediation, game-play at recess, and conversations at school events, the dads heal and in turn facilitate healing for those around them, children and adults alike. Tali is grateful for and excited to see how being in community can continue to bring about confidence and change for all of us.
