Shalenah Williams is a Cleveland native with 20+ years’ experience as a community advocate, advocate for marginalized populations, change agent and solution specialist.  Her passion has always been to enhance the lives of community members who have been afflicted by our nation’s current systems and structures. Shalenah’s goal is to continue having intentional and purposeful conversations that bring about intentional action that leads to systemic and lasting change. Shalenah currently works at the City of Cleveland as a Community Engagement Program Manager with the Cleveland Community Police Commission where she focuses on fostering positive working relationships between community members, community organizations and Cleveland Police. Shalenah is a graduate of Ursuline College (BA) and John Carroll University (MA). She is the proud mom of three amazing children and in her leisure time, she enjoys reading, writing, dancing, and skating.
