West Park | Community Organizing
Rebekah Ferro’s passion for people and collaboration has guided her values throughout her professional and personal life. She currently works in community development in the West Park neighborhood. She also manages a farmers market, where fresh local produce is made accessible to all, even those who may not have otherwise been able to afford it. Rebekah is proud to serve the community where she grew up and strives to make West Park a better place for everyone. She has worked in non-profits for most of her career, ranging from education, to theatre, to community development. Through her time in theater, she gained vital skills in cooperation and collaboration which she uses in her work today. She works to empower residents to be the change they want to see in their community. She believes creative problem solving, active listening, and empathy is what leads to a better future not only for communities in Cleveland, but also across the world.
