Linda Howard has been serving young mothers since she had her first born at the age of 13. Young Mothers of Cleveland, an organization founded by Linda, seeks to improve the lives of young mothers and their children in Cleveland. Following a personal tragedy in 2020, Linda started branding herself and Young Mothers of Cleveland by fostering important partnerships. She began her community work passing out milk and diapers to those who needed them and has since opened a three-story boarding house for women and children following a donation from someone who helped her when she was moving out of a shelter. Linda focuses on wraparound services, providing passion with everything she does and ensuring young mothers have a support system in her. Linda puts herself in spaces where she is able to educate herself in the political and community realms. She is willing to build not only for herself, but always for others.
