Quiana

Quiana is best known for her ability to build trusting relationships quickly, a quality that underscores her nursing career and service to Cleveland residents through the University Hospital ACHIEVE GreatER program. Over the past decade, Quiana has transitioned her career from nail technician to Cardiovascular Health Equity Scientist. While pursuing her doctorate in nursing at Case Western Reserve University, Quiana also works full-time and leads community health clinics offering free cardiovascular risk screenings for CMHA and Greater Cleveland residents. Quiana acknowledges that her own lived experiences have equipped her to better understand and connect with patients in Cleveland’s underserved communities. An alumna of Ursuline College who completed both the undergraduate and graduate nursing programs, she is a recipient of the March of Dimes Ohio Nurse of the Year and University Hospitals Clinical Nurse Excellence award and Nurse Preceptor awards.
