Octavia Boykin has a passion for wellness and personal growth. She is the founder of SELFY, which is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing women and girls access to programs that support and strengthen their mental well-being. Octavia is a Program Analyst for the University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio, where she manages enterprise-wide operations within the Department of Radiation Oncology. She is a member of University Hospitals’ Office of Community Impact, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion, which is responsible for supporting, promoting, and implementing programs that maintain an inclusive, equitable, and diverse environment to ultimately provide culturally relevant patient care. Octavia holds a Master’s Degree in Organization Development from Bowling Green State University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from Cleveland State University with a focus in Mental Health, Leadership, and Development. Octavia is also a certified Yoga instructor who has trained many on mindfulness through workshops she facilitates at different locations.
