Julie Walker

Julie Walker has dedicated over 20 years to public education, bringing a passion for fostering equity and connection within her classroom and greater school community. As an experienced teacher, committee leader and equity champion, Julie has worked tirelessly to create inclusive, engaging learning environments and works to build strong relationships with her students’ parents as well as community partners. In 2024, Julie branched out to help create change in her greater community by starting a podcast called “Gather Well Cleveland Heights.” The mission of Gather Well is to build a stronger, safer and more connected community. By sharing opportunities to gather on the podcast as well as through social media, Julie and the team at Gather Well are looking to turn proximity into true relationships. Whether groups and gatherings center around art, nature, politics, books or food, Gather Well aims to celebrate connections and bring people together to promote understanding and build a network of support and meaningful connections. Julie’s vision is to use Gather Well as a bridge builder within Cleveland Heights and beyond.
