Angelec Hillsman has worked for Cleveland Metroparks within the Outdoor Experiences Division for 21 years. For the last 8 years, she has been honored to serve as a Mobile Outreach Manager. This role has allowed her to connect marginalized communities to nature through outreach. Angelec is committed to breaking down barriers and expanding access to parks and nature through innovative programs and meaningful partnerships. She is also a Certified Interpretative Guide, First Aid/CPR/AED Instructor, holds a commercial driver’s license, and serves as Treasurer for the Cleveland Metroparks Club Metro Committee. Angelec hails from Cleveland, Ohio and holds a B.S. in Natural Resources (focusing on Environmental Communication, Education, and Interpretation) from The Ohio State University. She resides in Euclid with her husband and two children.
