Sherri Smith Cohort VI

Sherri Smith is a native Clevelander and a graduate of the Cleveland Municipal School District. She graduated from Baldwin-Wallace College with Bachelor of Science degrees in Sociology and Organizational Leadership with an emphasis in Human Services. Community and youth empowerment and involvement have proven to be an innate part of her work. The United Pastors in Mission, selected her to head a housing initiative that would help change the face of blighted areas in the greater Cleveland area and move renters to homeowners by developing an affordable homebuyers program. She works as a Parent Advocate for the Tapestry Systems of Care Programs for the Northeast Cluster.  Sherri is a proud mother and enjoys her family, reading and anything involving laughter, joy and making life better for the next person.
