Sarah Murphy is passionate about helping others on their journey in recovery. She has been with The Edna House staff since 2019, where her position has grown from Administrative Assistant into becoming the Advancement Coordinator, and is a proud Edna House Alumna since 2015. Murphy was instrumental in raising $1.25 million for the capital campaign which enhanced The Edna House by turning their life-saving mission into a campus, which can now serve 57 women. Her current role is advancing and growing The Edna House mission and overseeing the Phase III Program of Edna Alumnae who now reside in The Edna House Residence and Education Center, recently completed in June of 2022. Phase III helps women 6-months post-recovery, allowing women to stay on the campus in safe, supportive housing. Murphy has served as President of the Alumnae Association at Edna House and was chairperson of various committees before joining their staff. Murphy is a certified Peer Recovery Supporter by The Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services, as well as being certified in Adult Mental Health First Aid by the National Council for Mental Wellbeing.
