Ras Asan believes when you invest in people, you increase their quality of life. Ras is passionate about helping others create healthy lifestyles through addressing economic issues and helping them achieve economic sustainability. A 2013 Morehouse graduate, he has a strong sense of responsibility for his community. Ras served as the inaugural Entrepreneur-In-Residence for Cleveland’s Economic Development Department, helping to create $30 million in economic impact in Black communities. Ras now serves as the Neighborhood Investment Manager for Cleveland’s southeast neighborhoods, where he connects business owners to capital, economic development programs and increases their access to low-interest and interest-free loans. He serves as an advisory council member for the Phe’be Foundation, a financial literacy organization that has helped underserved communities close on $500 million in mortgages over the past 25 years. Through the Phe’be Foundation, Ras hosts the All Things Money radio show every Thursday from 11am-12pm on WOVU 95.9 FM where he discusses wealth, wellness, access and equity. Ras is also a certified Unani Herbalist and author of Heal Thy Hustle: Wellness Guide For Go-Getters.
