Ohio City | Community Organizing
Laura Kushnick serves as the Director of Development and Community Relations for Downtown Cleveland Alliance. She developed the DCA City Advocates Program which provides civic education and active engagement for rising leaders in the Downtown Cleveland community. A native of Shaker Heights, Laura returned to Cleveland after living on the east coast and abroad. Laura became a proud “both-sider,” moving first to Tremont and now a homeowner with her husband in Ohio City. She is an active member of her block club and avid participant in the community process in Ohio City. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts and a Master’s degree in Art Education. Laura stays connected to art education by serving on the board of Young Audiences of Northeast Ohio.
