Kim Holt settled in Cleveland’s Old Brooklyn neighborhood in 1999. She fell in love with her neighborhood and wanted others to see its’ beauty. With much support from her neighbors, Kim started the Spokane Avenue Model Block Association. Through S.A.M.B.A., neighbors gather to restore the beauty to Spokane Avenue, empower the community, and share its resources. Kim’s goal is to have her street serve as an inspirational blueprint for neighborhood improvement.
