Union-Miles | Community Organizing
James Bell has been a fixture in the Union Miles community for a number of years. Community residents easily recognize his house because it always has a sign in the front yard announcing the next street club meeting. James retired from AT&T after many years of service but, to him, there is no such thing as retirement because his community work keeps him busy. As the Street Club President, James is constantly seeking new ways to engage neighborhood residents. He works to make his neighborhood safe and secure and he wants to become more active in addressing the housing needs of his community.
