Greg Knapp is a Cleveland native who lived in Chicago and Washington, D.C. Greg Knapp returned to Northeast Ohio in 2004 and settled in Slavic Village. In 2006 Greg organized the Slavic Village Vacant and Abandoned Property Task Force, a group comprised of neighborhood residents and professional staff from Slavic Village Development, Neighborhood Progress, Inc., and the CWRU Center on Urban Poverty and Community Development. As Chairperson of the Task Force, Greg directed an investigation into the causes and effects of the foreclosure crisis in Cleveland’s North Broadway and South Broadway neighborhoods. Since 2005, Greg has served on the Board of Directors of the Pulaski Franciscan Community Development Corporation (PFCDC), an organization dedicated to economic revitalization of the Warszawa Historic District in Slavic Village. He is currently serving as PFCDC Board President.
