												Brenda Metzger is a resident of Cleveland’s Central neighborhood. She is active in her community and focuses her efforts on a block club and looking after neighborhood youth. She has worked with at-risk HIV populations, counseled HIV+ individuals and assisted a variety of social service organizations by providing counseling and advocacy for individuals in need. Brenda always keeps a positive attitude and believes that individuals do have the ability to make things better in their communities if they are willing to put in the effort. Brenda is a recipient of numerous awards including Outstanding Community Service award from Burten, Bell, Carr Development, Inc., and the Cuyahoga County HIV Prevention Regional Advisory Group (RAG) Volunteer of the Year Award.
